Welcome to my website.
From conception to presentation my remit in the art field has its origins firmly based in the traditional arenas of oil and watercolour painting.
My work has been ongoing since two thousand and three when I first enrolled at Aberdeen College to gain my four highers, one of which being Art and Design. This led me to the creation of D.M. Fisher Fine Artistry an enterprise I am and always will be in the process of nurturing
I try to keep my portfolio as diverse as possible by selecting and combining elements from naivety, abstraction, expressionism and conceptualism. Keeping my repertoire as accommodating as possible, without sacrificing ingenuity or originality.
This comes from a process of meditation on each idea, and committing to a picture in depth. This to my mind adds momentum to the project.
As I look to the future for more inspiration everyday, I find new avenues everywhere to expand into, to create that rich variety of expression that adds depth and meaning to life.
